Carly Yates M.Ost

Carly works as an Osteopath at our Luton clinic. She graduated from The British School of Osteopathy with a Master of Osteopathy degree. During Carly’s training, she worked within the pregnancy and children’s clinics, and decided to specialise in the management of pregnant women in her final year. She also enjoys working with children, and uses a combination of both cranial and gentle structural approaches as appropriate.

Prior to osteopathy, Carly worked in an administrative role within the NHS. Whilst working for a consultant orthopaedic surgeon, she became interested in human anatomy. At the same time, she was suffering from occupational-related back pain, which was successfully treated with osteopathy. This led her to pursue a career in osteopathy and she now has a great appreciation for the strain a sedentary desk job can put upon the human body.

A friendly and approachable professional, Carly believes the key to being a good practitioner is the ability to explain the cause of a client’s problem to them, combined with offering lifestyle and exercise advice to empower her clients to get back to their daily activities quickly.
