Osteopath

Luton Osteopathic and Sports Injury Clinic (LOSIC) are excited to be adding to our multi-disciplinary team by recruiting an enthusiastic, proactive self-employed Osteopath to join the team on a part-time basis (16-20 Hours) at our Luton-based clinic. There is scope to take on more flexible days/shifts as your client list builds. Initially, the fee is a 50/50 split and the position will have a 1 month trial period.

Preferred but not essential would be a candidate that specialises in Treating Mothers and Babies to assist in the specialist Mother Baby Clinic part of the business.

We are looking for an individual who:
 

• Has a minimum 1 Year of experience

• Is passionate about osteopathy and giving great customer service 

• Has experience in treating a wide range of patients with musculoskeletal conditions

• Is driven autonomously as a practitioner taking responsibility for the management of patients on their own caseload without supervision, well as participating in the practice teamwork 

• Will conduct assessments and treatment of patients, both private and insurance related

• Has excellent organisational skills, with the ability to address enquiries as well as keep timely appointments and patient documentation and records to reflect the care

• Has a high degree of competency and commitment to putting the patient first, and developing effective treatment plans.

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills with a strong patient focus prior to, during and following appointments.

• Flexible, open to change and committed to developing CPD

• Is open to addressing clients' and staff needs outside of setting working hours

• Able to speak and understand English

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
 

• Minimum MOst Osteopathy degree 

• GOsC registered

• Public Indemnity Insurance Required

• Beneficial Qualifications (but not necessarily required) – Speciality experience such as cranial, paediatrics, ITEC level 3 or 5 Sports Massage, Medical Acupuncture, cupping, strapping and taping, ultrasound

Tasks could include:
 

• Prior research of client needs including communication prior to, during and following appointments.

• Checking electronic diary

• Answering phones and emails

• Customer care & satisfaction

• Social media promotion and content

• Communicating with clients and staff regularly

• Completing patient notes

• Liaising with other companies

• Assisting the growth of the business

• Maintaining a good appearance and representation of the business
