David Leach - B.Sc. Hons Ost Med
Senior consultant osteopath
David is the senior osteopath & consultant at our Luton and Markyate clinics. Having been both England & Wales lacrosse captain and played international level sport for the past 22 years. He has been fortunate enough to travel the world on numerous medical teams working with some of the top medical professionals in sport.
In recent times David's interests have steered towards infantile conditions, he has been working with children for the past 15 years and primarily concentrates of digestive disorders commonly know as Colic & Silent Reflux. To do this he has specialised in combining Cranial osteopathy with Functional release techniques. He also works with Autistic and Down's syndrome children reducing anxiety and improving digestion.
In 2014 David trailed a research project using ultrasound to find the causes of conditions commonly known as Silent Reflux and Colic. His research found high numbers of these conditions were due to a recurrent area of the bowel was lethargic causing a blockage of food resulting in crying or discomfort. He then divided a specific treatment programme with fantastic results. David also noticed a high degree of neck injuries sustained in traumatic assisted births commonly coinciding with children who would not lie and self settle. We are all Registered Osteopaths with our governing body the GOsC http://www.osteopathy.org.uk/ and regularly update our pediatric knowledge.
Patrick Walker

Patrick Walker has qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (now University College of Osteopathy) in 2017 and he has since been with us at LOSIC. Patrick prides himself on his friendly and approachable manner in clinic. With a passion for structural osteopathy, he boasts well executed technique in a way that is best suited to the patient. He also takes great pleasure in explaining treatment processes and diagnoses to patients in detail in an understandable and reassuring way. His ability to work on the cause and of diagnosis, as well as using a wide variety of efficient techniques on symptomatic areas makes him a very effective practitioner. As a keen sportsman, Patrick has a keen eye for sporting biomechanics and performance in his work as well as everyday musculo-skeletal issues.
